Replace your Windows Desktop with Aston Shell
Yesterday, a friend of mine told me to have a look at Aston Shell. It is a program that replaces your windows desktop. So I went to the site, and here is a quick description:

The performance was quite impressive. One thing I really love is how you literally have everything at your fingertip on your desktop.
What makes Aston even more impressive is the amount of available themes on the website that can be downloaded. These themes are mind blowing. Trust me, once you start using it, you will never look at another Windows desktop the same way again. Furthermore, going through the comments on the themes, I see a lot of them date as far back as 2002 and 2003. This means Aston has existed for quite some time, and I had never even heard about it. I love how the analog clock sits on the desktop, and you can add more widgets. Also, hovering on the minimized windows gives you a screen shot preview of the content. This and many more neat features come with Aston.
Microsoft seriously needs to hire new programmers, because I don’t understand how an outside source can write a desktop shell that uses less resources, and works way better than the native Windows desktop. Download the trial from the site and take it for a test drive, you will love it!
