So this new program premiered sometime this week on MTV called Celebrity Rap Superstar. First off, the title of the program contradicts itself in so many ways. The so called celebs on the show are pretty much all D-Listers.

The concept behind the show is to pair 8 so called “celebrities” - Shar Jackson, Playboy bunny girl, some rocker, Perez Hilton and other unknowns - with professional rappers as mentors. They undergo some training sessions and then battle it out live. Seriously, this show is so wack, it is beyond words. When I first saw the ads for the show, it actually looked like it could be funny because of Perez’s skit. The actual show is a total disaster. It makes you think what some of these producers are smoking when they come out with dumb ass ideas like this.

Have you ever had one of those days where you surf the net without really having a mission, but happen to randomly find something cool. Today was one of those days. It so happened that I found this beautiful rendition of JT’s “What goes around”, performed by Esmee Denters. Esmee is an up and coming Dutch Singer/Songwriter. She has a really sultry and lush voice going on. Check out the video to hear for yourself.
